The easiest way to follow this blog is by occasionally visiting the web site: www.cs.cmu.edu/~nuggets.
Some readers may choose to be informed in an active way when new content has been posted. The easiest way to do that is via the widget at the bottom of the right column: just provide an Email address, and you will get a message informing you of news posts. (Upon signing up, you will get an Email asking for confirmation, so that people don’t start sending these posts to others, maliciously.)
Other options are avilable. You can use a web-based reader, such as http://reader.google.com or http://www.bloglines.com, and subscribe to this blog by using the above URL. Or, you can download and install one of the many free feed reader applications, such as FeedReader. Some of these applications will have a desktop alert feature.
You can also use a service such as BlogAlert and to get an email when new articles are posted to the blog. In the case of BlogAlert, you will be asked for the URL of the “feed”, not the blog itself. The correct address to use is the feed URL for the blog:
Note that most up-to-date web browsers also understand feeds, and so if you type this URL into a browser (such as Firefox), it will ask if you want to subscribe to updates via the browser’s built-in feed reader. This will enable your browser to alert you to any new articles that get posted to the blog.
Please report any problems to me, “sef” atsign “cs.cmu.edu”.
